HIGHLY RECOMMEND... I know a good fish when I see one and with smarts fish bar it is what you get,absolutely superb...the quality of the fish aswell as the chips it's absolutely to die for,really amazing.... Curry sauce just made to perfection really a must to go with your chips... Friendly atmosphere and overall a amazing experience . Thanks so much Smarts fish bar looking forward to my next visit.

Went to this place today for 3x fish & chips. I was order number 3 after a 50x order had just been received. It was very busy and the staff very apologetic. Total wait for my order was about 15-20mins. Given the above order, that they were clearly very busy with, I thought this was impressive. Was the quality of our food affected by this massive order? In short - nope! Chips were great, fish was best I've had in a long time - flaky, crispy batter - how it should be. 100% recommend, fantastic place and staff.

A large bag of chips for lunch after a 9 mile walk. Tasted ridiculously decadent. I haven't had take away chips for as long as I remember. After this I'm questioning myself sanity...why!! Just wish the happy smiley server was heavy handed on the salt and vinegar!

2nd time visiting Smarts fish and chip shop. Have to say they have the best cod and chips 😋 Not greasy, burnt, shrivelled up or hard. Soft and fluffy on the inside and just the right amount of crispness on the outside. The cod is of equal light crispness. Quite the opposite of the normal heavily battered fish. Definitely worth a visit ☺ Grab a bench to sit on and relax while watching the world go by at the seaside. Whilst munching on a delicious 🐡 n 🍿 n 🧋 😁👍

Lovely huge sausage and chips.. It was a very busy chippy. You put order in and go outside and wait to be called to collect your order. They also did batter less fish For my mate and sister who were with me..
